Gentler than I remember...

I remember trying the original back in the early nineties - a killer bomb of gasoline and petrol in the midst of the soon-to-come unisex as well as fresh & clean male perfume market.

Though not to my liking then, I have always admired Fahrenheit for being the game changer it was. My curiosity got the best of me and now twentyfive years later I had to try it again.

Not as harsh as I remember it - this could of course be due to my ageing or due to reformulation - but the gasoline opening does not seem to be as vile, yet distinctly the (TM) of Fahrenheit.
The middle part and drydown is actually quite nice, too bad I never got to this part in the early years, as I frantically scrubbed it off. Leather, stunning violet leaves and smoky vetiver, really nice.

I respect it and those who wear it - it's just not for me.
