The Stalker Fragrance - a Marzipan Dessert
Poison Girl is stalking me.
First it was the colleague, look, this is your scent, had to try it.
I don’t have to do anything.
Then the sales associate at practically every visit. You must have tried Poison Girl.
I don’t have to do anything.
So I mean, hello. Look at me, girl, no one is really going to believe that. How do they all come to this conclusion, do they get a commission from Dior at Douglas now? Questions I asked myself while I lazily sniffed the fragrance once (!). Besides, I learned here: sweet = bad / mainstream + sweet = bad taste.
Internal reasons for the rejection -> I don’t like Poison, I didn’t like Tendre Poison, I hate Hypnotic Poison.
So now look, this is Poison Girl:
- ultra-sweet start
-> thick like velvet jelly
- brief wave of orange
-> under Zuckerberg
- the coolest bitter almond note
-> how great is that? This bitter almond twist interrupts the overall sweetness of the jelly, I love it
- vanilla dry down
-> dry, no pudding, not really dark, not really light, slightly underlaid by tonka
- smooth as the finest marzipan
Conclusion: not powdery, not creamy, but leaning that way. Stops just before it can become one or the other. Skillfully breaks the 2010 sweetness with a bitter factor, the essential element of the fragrance. Sugar and whip. Not as girly as one might think. Not often smelled outside. Very potent, a little fragrance is completely sufficient, economical. Mega sillage, lasts forever, winter hit.
Yeah sorry, you up there, you knew better. You can tell I’ve tried Poison Girl, or you know me and my innermost self too well. You were right. I had to have tried Poison Girl.
