Oh Miss Dior. What have they done to you?
Today I went in store to compare the Miss Dior 2021 version and the new Miss Dior by Francis Kurkdjian. You may have seen the 2021 version being discounted to make way for the new bottle but let me tell you this- if you want to purchase one of them, don’t bother with the 2021 bottle and just skip straight ahead to Kurkdjian’s creation. You’ll thank me later.
I can see why this version had to be shelved. There is nothing groundbreaking nor special about this. All I can smell is powder, soap and maybe a hint of pepper and dusty florals. Boring and forgettable. There is no resemblance to the beloved Cherie or 2012 versions besides the cute bottle. I definitely won’t be mourning the loss of the 2021 version once it’s finally gone.
