An all around successful fragrance
Sauvage Elixir,
there it is now, hotly longed for and expected. I'm really no friend of the Sauvage fragrances, the once mentioned in advance; the Sauvage fragrances were me always too sharp, piercing in the nose, in short, too ambroxan lastig.
However, this fragrance is basically out of line. He makes a nice round development through and reminds of the true perfume art of the house of Dior from earlier times.
The fragrance starts relatively fresh with grapefruit and lavender, then becomes very warm and velvety, almost mossy and woody, to change again later in a gum- licorice touch à la Balmain carbon.
In general, I have very many associations with the fragrance course to forgotten classics,
In the beginning, for example, to Macassar by Rochas, in the middle then Jil Sander Man Two and at the end
remains a memory and similarity to Héritage by Guerlain, all quite noble fragrances so.
The basic DNA of the actual Sauvage fragrance remains thereby always discreet and never too pungent or intrusive in the background.
The fragrance is very long lasting and has in the drydown warm and woody element - on the whole : Chapeau Monsieur Demachy, a really noble fragrance, and for a long time a fragrance that really stands out and stands out away from the mainstream.
