Dior has truly outdone themselves with this fragrance – it's absolutely fantastic, radiating both class and sexiness.
The opening introduces a bright dash of grapefruit, which quickly transitions into a wonderfully smooth, milky, chocolatey cardamom. A subtle hint of sweetness emerges, and then the lavender works its magic, especially when mingling with nutmeg to create a distinct roasted, woody vibe.
This is a complex scent that truly evolves. After the initial few hours, the heavier cardamom mellows, moving into the background. The lavender, grapefruit, woods, licorice, and cinnamon then take center stage, seamlessly blending into a unified, captivating aroma.
For the first two hours, the projection and sillage are incredible, easily filling a room. It then settles to within arm's length but remains very noticeable. The longevity is exceptional, lasting well over 12 hours and even into the next day on my skin.
The overall smell is simply wonderful, allowing you to discern individual notes even within their intricate blend. The sandalwood in particular is outstanding, almost creamy. This fragrance undergoes numerous beautiful transitions on the skin, always maintaining its classy and seductive appeal. All in all, I'm thoroughly impressed – a stellar release from Dior.
