A Little Bit of Naughtiness for Little Money
Dita von Teese really stands out positively from the drugstore shelf. Compared to the other famous (or infamous) models and the ever-new stars in the pop sky with their sweet, boring waters, Dita's fragrance is far less aimed at a young, easily excited audience. Yes, braces-wearing boy band fans should better invest their pocket money elsewhere. But I wouldn't claim that this scent is only for mature ladies. When the braces are off, and hormones have twisted the taste into proper shock-rocker territory, then this black bottle fits perfectly next to the bottle of black nail polish. And for those who already clash with a completely black wardrobe, they can also provocatively wear a slightly harsher scent without worry. But kids, don't overdo it with the dosage!
Given the price range and the chic 20 ml bottle, I decided to go for it. Blind. I still had space on my little perfume shelf. And the name Dita von Teese didn't scare me off either. After all, she doesn't make her money with annoying pop music. No, thankfully, she has become a stripper/erotic model. This makes her much more likable to me than the other celebrities with drugstore fragrances named after them. And the fact that it smells significantly naughtier from this bottle is a home run. A scent almost as spicy as Dita's nude photo shoots and lesbian erotic films from days gone by. I hope this fragrance doesn't disappear from drugstores anytime soon.
However, it will eventually be gone from my perfume shelf. That's already certain. Don't take it personally, Dita, but I know others who play in a completely different league than you. And since I have more than just a little pocket money at my disposal, I would rather invest my money in other fragrances. Nevertheless, I won't regret my time with you. Unfortunately, this won't be anything long-term. You'll have to make room for something new eventually.
