With Orange
To my nose this is a luxurious and refined version of Acqua di Gio with a lovely Blood Orange note in the beginning. After emerging as a strong Acqua di Gio accord for a while the citrus actually returns a bit, here and there, and it is quite well done. There's a rindy-ness to this, like the citrus rind, that I really like. But the AdG note just won't quite leave. So if you like that, as many do, you may love this as a much improved composition. I usually think scents are all year-round, but this is one of the few that says summer only to me. I wouldn't want to smell this around food either, so a walk, a club, summer evening, dancing maybe. Not dinner.
