Flickering heat...
Barefoot we walk on the beach, the hot sand between our toes and salt on our warm skin. The sun hangs low in the sky, reflecting in the crystal blue water. Hypnotized, we watch the play of light on the dancing waves, and the wind brings a cool, salty breeze to us, putting a smile on our faces. Is this paradise?!!
Is this real?!!
Everything feels like a dream from which one does not want to wake. Soft voices are carried to us by the wind. Voices of children playing in the water, soft music from a radio far away, and the sound of the sea. I take a deep breath and smell the sea, the salt on our skin, and the pleasantly fragrant sunscreen with which we had applied to each other.
Our grins widen as we take each other's hands and run towards the long-awaited coolness. The cool sea welcomes us, and we gratefully let ourselves be embraced by it, carried by its waves... we just drift and for the moment we are like children, we are happy. We romp and splash, forgetting everyday life and stress, and the only worry we have is deciding which drink we will have tonight....
If you want to evoke this memory on a very hot day at the push of a button, then I can warmly recommend "Seathalasso." Finally, a marine scent where no seaweed monsters rise from the sea and no dead fish are washed ashore. It simply smells wonderful of salt, seawater, and sun-kissed skin. However, I really don’t understand why the sea is not a unisex fragrance to spray on, and I would argue that Seathalasso can also be wonderfully worn by water men.
Visually, the bottle has unfortunately changed for the worse. The pretty blue with the "shell-filled" cap had to give way to a very plain turquoise bottle. However, the bottle is practical, as it is quite robust and can simply be tossed into a backpack or bag without breaking. Fortunately, the scent has remained the same, even though other claims are made on the internet.
The longevity is a good 5-6 hours (which is quite justifiable for the affordable price), and the sillage is really good. The scent becomes more pleasant and beautiful over time and with rising temperatures.
A clear recommendation for summer!
"There must be something strangely sacred in salt. It is found in our tears and in the sea."
-Khalil Gibran
Great comment! I really need to test the scent too. I think it's good that the bottle has been changed, as those little snail shells from the old bottle are unfortunately obtained in a cruel way (live snails), which has held me back from buying it as an animal lover. The quote from Khalil Gibran, whom I really like anyway, fits perfectly with the comment! Beach & Sea Trophy for you!
You wrote that so beautifully that I practically fell into the sea. Wonderful! I feel the same way about Seathalasso as you described it, and I also regret that the bottle has changed. The old one was just a real eye-catcher with the little shells in the cap.
