by the Sea side
This realy takes me to the beach , A beautiful tropicl whit sanded beach with warm winds tingeling my skin and making waves in my hair,
This has the fealing of Windy ocean , in the wind you can feal slightly cooled down notes of orange flowers , sea weed and seashells, It has a slight touch of salty sand aswell. but this isent to disturbing. There is also almost a feal of almond cream aswell ,it is the Heeliotrop i guess ,a slight sweetnes that adds to it so it does not get to much sea salty.
I cant realy detect all the other notes apart.
This is a different take on the sea side perfume, it smells of salt and beach with a hint of flowers .
I can realy see this work as a Spa scent creams, body wash and all

Sometimes less is less
This is such a generational thing. For my children, summer smells like Nivea Sun. I conducted a non-representative blind study with the corresponding EdT - the reactions were clear.
For those over 40, however, Delial in the yellow bottle stands for swimming pools, kiosks, and wet towels. Not to mention the Tyrolean nut oil junkies, who smelled incredibly delicious and looked like they had already been marinated for the rotisserie.
"Delial burns ideally" came with sunburn guarantee and SPF 4, and for the overly cautious wimps and redheads, SPF 8. It was such a heavily over-perfumed allergen bomb that my mother, who usually isn't affected by anything, turned as pink as a flamingo if she just got a tiny bit of it.
That Seathalasso smells like the old Delial has already been confirmed by others here. I have tried so many fragrances, none come close to it. The old formulation was definitely better. The old bottle was significantly uglier. The shells still clink around so unmotivated in the hollow cap. I got the new Seathalasso as a backup because it suddenly was only available from a single retailer and there was only 1 piece left there. I approached it with low expectations, thinking it would just be a shadow of its predecessor. I am relieved to find that it is only diluted, yes. That's not really cool, but I can live with it. The structure is almost identical to the old one in my nose. The new bottle is also a failure. It is no longer strikingly creepy, but just creepy. When I lift the cap, the plastic seal inside makes a noise that reminds me of my cat squeaking when her cat buddy gives her a whack.
Conclusion: From now on, spray 3 times instead of once. Don't place the bottle prominently on the shelf with the other beauties, but rather in the third row. Be glad that I am still stocked up for a few summers. Still hope that it won't be discontinued.

A Beach Day in the 1970s
As a teenager, I often spent vacations at the North Sea with my parents. And there was always this very special scent in the air of wonderful sunscreen, sea, salt, and warm skin. I remember how my mother and I would always hold our noses to the wind to locate this scent precisely. Whenever a beach neighbor used an elegant sunscreen from Lancaster, we always thought, that must be the one that smells so great! However, we never figured it out. I have never forgotten that special scent.

Until two years ago, when I was once again meandering around Douglas and, since it was so hot, was looking for a nice summer fragrance. The saleswoman sprayed Seathalasso (which was first introduced in the care line that I didn't know about back then) on my arm. WHAAAM!!! I couldn't believe it: There it was, exactly that scent from my past, simply bottled! I was speechless and completely blown away, and of course, I took it home immediately! It has accompanied me for two summers now, and I love it! However, I only wear it when it’s really hot. How it smells has already been perfectly described by others before me: Like sun-warmed skin, sunscreen, sea, salt, sand, and wind - in short, like a wonderful sunny beach day by the sea - all perfectly captured in a fragrance.

It doesn't last too long on me either, but the bottle, which I really like with the shells on the cap, contains 100 ml. And the price is moderate, so you can easily and often replenish it. Of course, my mother also owns Seathalasso. She was totally blown away when I showed it to her. I will never forget how she exclaimed with complete enthusiasm: “Yes, exactly, THAT is the scent from back then at the beach!”

Be water my friend...
Flickering heat...
Barefoot we walk on the beach, the hot sand between our toes and salt on our warm skin. The sun hangs low in the sky, reflecting in the crystal blue water. Hypnotized, we watch the play of light on the dancing waves, and the wind brings a cool, salty breeze to us, putting a smile on our faces. Is this paradise?!!
Is this real?!!
Everything feels like a dream from which one does not want to wake. Soft voices are carried to us by the wind. Voices of children playing in the water, soft music from a radio far away, and the sound of the sea. I take a deep breath and smell the sea, the salt on our skin, and the pleasantly fragrant sunscreen with which we had applied to each other.
Our grins widen as we take each other's hands and run towards the long-awaited coolness. The cool sea welcomes us, and we gratefully let ourselves be embraced by it, carried by its waves... we just drift and for the moment we are like children, we are happy. We romp and splash, forgetting everyday life and stress, and the only worry we have is deciding which drink we will have tonight....

If you want to evoke this memory on a very hot day at the push of a button, then I can warmly recommend "Seathalasso." Finally, a marine scent where no seaweed monsters rise from the sea and no dead fish are washed ashore. It simply smells wonderful of salt, seawater, and sun-kissed skin. However, I really don’t understand why the sea is not a unisex fragrance to spray on, and I would argue that Seathalasso can also be wonderfully worn by water men.

Visually, the bottle has unfortunately changed for the worse. The pretty blue with the "shell-filled" cap had to give way to a very plain turquoise bottle. However, the bottle is practical, as it is quite robust and can simply be tossed into a backpack or bag without breaking. Fortunately, the scent has remained the same, even though other claims are made on the internet.

The longevity is a good 5-6 hours (which is quite justifiable for the affordable price), and the sillage is really good. The scent becomes more pleasant and beautiful over time and with rising temperatures.
A clear recommendation for summer!

"There must be something strangely sacred in salt. It is found in our tears and in the sea."

What a pity
What a pity that this fragrance, as I wore it today and yesterday and which Helena1411 kindly let me have in a swap, is no longer available. At least not in the way I have come to know it now.

Briefly, the orange blossom greets me, only to immediately make way for the sea. Refreshing and pleasant, it fit perfectly into the slightly sultry warm weather of yesterday. After half a minute, these maritime notes threaten to drift towards brackish water. But Seathalasso regains its footing, leading me a little away from the coast to a nearby garden that houses the most beautiful blooms, whose scent the wind gently wafts around my nose, without me losing the sea air from my perception. The fragrance notes are gentle, slightly warming, and calm, yet still lightly refreshing due to the sea air. I do not perceive cedarwood and musk separately. After a few hours, I mainly have a softly wafted orange blossom from the maritime notes in my nose. It wafts towards me from my T-shirt, while on my skin a slightly spicy note remains.

The longevity on the skin is fine for me at 5 - 6 hours. The sillage is moderate, staying within the immediate personal space. The T-shirt will surely continue to smell until it lands in the washing machine.

On the Douglas website, there are many disappointed comments from customers who repurchased Seathalasso and no longer found the scent as they knew it.

Addendum: This evening, after many many hours, I can also perceive wood + heliotrope.

Play-Doh impression. Pastel, chalky-rubbery-herbaceous floral. A slightly artificial lilac. But pleasant. Especially in the deep drydown.

This scent gives me ultimate flashbacks.
It smells like a pool day, relaxation, and doing nothing in the heat. Well done!

Sprayed on, and I feel decades younger, sitting freshly moisturized on a North Sea island beach, building castles. Sun + sea + Delial sunscreen.

And again it could move in - wonderful, (sun-)creamy summer scent, reminds me of the public pool, childhood, shimmering heat - a dream

Awakens memories of past summers. Initially a bit tangy, it becomes wonderfully creamy-sunscreen-like on me. Delial nostalgia in a bottle!

Unisex? Fresh-aquatic? More of a feminine floral scent on a great maritime base. Very pleasant and makes you crave summer.

Discovered it at a friend's place and fell in love right away! Great fresh summer scent! This one works anytime, if only the longevity were better!

It's way too subtle for me, too little sea and too much orange blossom. Okay for refreshing with body products, but no wow factor.

The epitome of vacation. Sun, beach, and sea.
Unfortunately no longer available in the old form.
H+S bad that you have to keep reapplying.
