No Rain Showers in Sight

What Dunhill has to do with London, I’m not quite sure. The scent is not that cool and rainy or flowing at all. It is much too gentle and warm for that. A men’s perfume that is not too angular and lacks a strong character. When I imagine London and think back to my trip, this perfume is totally inappropriate for a tour of this city.

The beginning is very cardamom-like, with almost no trace of bergamot. Just a slight hint of apple mixes in, but this soon fades, as after just a few minutes, the jasmine settles heavily in the scent. However, it quickly rises from the depths and makes the fragrance a bit fresh and extremely light. A floral men’s perfume, very daring! I find it a bit too light and not as distinctive as most men’s perfumes are. I like it very much when I’m working or when I quickly grab something from the city. The heart note is very jasmine-dominated. The rose only makes a brief appearance in the perfume and quickly takes its leave. Only when the sandalwood settles after not even two hours and weaves its threads into the perfume does it lose its freshness and become warmer, woodier, and significantly more pleasant. It is enveloped in smooth vanilla. Warm air paired with patchouli and a subtle tonka bean. Not a scent that overwhelms my senses, but rather keeps me grounded and takes away all the edges and corners.

The longevity for me is about four hours. So not really long.
The bottle is okay, not particularly handy, but it could be worse. The color is a plus point. Extremely calm and soothing. A delicate blue that reminds me of my younger years. I recommend the perfume more to young men, as it doesn’t have a mature image and simply suits younger people better.

To snuggle warmly, it fits, over it a chic black coat, just out for a bit, and that’s it... a warm rain shower would be perfect to get this stagnant, warm perfume flowing a bit - but I see no rain showers in sight... More flow and more kick - then it would have something of London, even if just a little.

Doesn't sound like a fragrance high at all...

I need to test it again, but in my opinion, it left an average impression on me as well.
