Debonair...

I see Oudh Infini as more of a Musky-Rose perfume with a powerful vintage flair. The oud is very subdued to me. It's not prominent enough to call this a Rose-Oud perfume. I also don't get why people find it polarizing. Or dirty. I believe people nowadays got used to smelling too many candy-like, bubblegum-like perfumes. I once showed this to my mother, and she loved it. She said it reminded her of a rose perfume her mother used to wear. And she's not into perfumes whatsoever. Fragrances back then were different. The same applies to people's tastes back in those days. I'm sure that back then, no one would have labeled Oudh Infini as a challenging perfume.

A beautiful and natural-smelling rose is pressed against this explosion of musks, of which civet is the most prominent. Feral and dangerous smelling while sensual, elegant, and sophisticated, all at the same time. The dry down reveals a powdery benzoin and creamy sandalwood to soften its edges. It never loses its vintage flair throughout the wear, although the heavy musks tame down after several hours.

Like many other bold Rose compositions, it is a sophisticated perfume to wear with a suit and tie for upscale situations among people who can appreciate its quality.
