Here it is! The fragrance that works anytime and anywhere!! We have found each other and don’t want to part ways. An exit fragrance? Probably not, but it’s close enough for my taste.
I must admit, when I first smelled it, the initial toothpaste scent (due to the mint) bothered me a bit. But once that fades away (and it does so quickly on my skin), a refreshing cocktail of wood, musk, and that final hint of cinnamon/mint remains, which is always bearable regardless of the season or time of day.
I have been searching for a fragrance that is not too overpowering but still distinctive and not everyday. That would be Geranium pour Monsieur. Moreover, it lasts surprisingly long! Sprayed on in the morning, I can still perceive it well into the late afternoon.
Conclusion: for me, the perfect symbiosis of classic men’s fragrance and a modern urban twist. It’s somehow nice that it polarizes here and doesn’t appear in the top ten.
To all those who haven’t tested it, I say, definitely give it a try and let it sit on your skin for a while. Maybe the GpM suits your skin just as well as it does mine.
Addendum: it remains a jack-of-all-trades. But it still doesn’t quite make it as an exit fragrance.
Very nice review. Indeed, a scent that might be polarizing, but one I was looking for and found. Not for every day, but perfect when freshness is in order.
