What a wonderful fragrance, from which I received a sample from dear L.; it requires a lot more words.
It’s summer, the ice cubes clink in the glass of orange soda, freshly washed laundry hangs on the line next to me, and the city is broiling in the heat. Next door, the lawnmower buzzes and neighbor X has the sprinkler running. I’m lounging in the deck chair, I have no obligations and I’m being lazy. My best friend is coming over soon, maybe there will be a gin and tonic, definitely good conversations...
All of this feels like West to me. I find it so wonderfully composed, and it actually smells a bit like my best friend, who always claims she doesn’t wear perfume. It combines the sweet bitterness of orange with something refreshingly juicy. Right now, at temperatures above 30 degrees, it’s excellent to wear.
