there was something ....
Today I tried Eau de Vivara - and my brain was spinning, as a memory of a long-loved and frequently used fragrance resurfaced within me.
But which one?
It couldn't have been the lush aldehyde opening, as that makes me step back in shock.
Bombastic aldehyde scents have a hard time with me.
But as this wave recedes, the beautiful Eau Vive by Carven comes to mind.
With its fruity spiciness, it can shake hands with Vivara.
I also perceive juniper.
However, Vivara is more static and not as lively and smooth as Vivee.
It stands there like a monument in the room, around which one must carefully navigate.
From the colorful Pucci, I had expected something cheerful.
It's like the designer's color blocks, which always remain distinct and do not blend.
Despite a certain similarity to Vive, I prefer the latter.
I’m glad I have stashed away a few bottles of this little treasure.
Still, thank you to Vivara for the memory.
