"On the Wings of a butterfly..."

Who loves this song by A-ha as much as I do?
Engelsrufer "Golden Wings" was allowed to move in with me today after it completely convinced me during the skin test.
The fragrance starts citrusy, almost immediately transitioning into a beautiful jasmine sweetness, and after about 1/2 hour, the wonderfully warm and soft vanilla-musk-caramel base unfolds, without becoming heavy or overwhelming.
For me, a sweet tooth, this is just perfect!!
Despite the significantly changing development from start to finish, it remains light and bright.
I immediately envisioned a first warm spring day on a blooming meadow, where butterflies flutter gently in the soft wind.
The golden flakes that lightly float in the completely clear and colorless liquid and the beautiful bottle captivated me right away.
Even if the fragrance hadn't convinced me, I probably would have bought it just for the bottle.
I bet I will wear it often in the future, and if not wear it, at least take it out to admire. ;-)

On the wings of a Nightingale

I like the Engelsrufer fragrances because they are very ethereal - almost esoteric.

They envelop me lightly and airily - and beautifully transparent.

Yesterday, I painted a picture with floating birds - and listened to the Everly Brothers: On the wings of a Nightingale I `ll fly.

And perhaps I am also gently caressed by "Golden Wings".

Mild citrus fruits reach me softly, followed by delicate flowers - subtly dusted with iris.
The woods are a light framework - through which soft vanilla shines.
The caramel note is just a hint - and does not weigh down the feather-light fragrance.

Golden Wings carries me away on wings - to beloved places.

And the bottle is once again a piece of jewelry.

A great gift fragrance - or also to keep for oneself.

Awakens a promise that is not kept.

The bottle is beautiful with gold glitter inside. The spray head is very fine, which is already a good sign. I went by the descriptions on the perfume shop's website and ordered it online. Caramel, oriental scents are exactly my thing. The overall packaging is beautiful and very lovingly done. Then I tested the scent on my hand, and it also got a little bit on my sweater.
The top note is immediately believable according to the description, and the flowers come through as well. I usually have my issues with Ylang-Ylang, as it is often too heavy and lush for me. Here, I was surprised; it hardly appears. This also applies to the entire base note, which is practically non-existent. The scent lingers on intense jasmine, eventually acquiring an unpleasant sharp note. That was also what I kept smelling in my nose whenever I moved my arm. Unpleasant and matronly, like an older governess. Angelic, not at all. For me, it's an everyday scent in a beautiful package.

For me, it starts off sweet and summery, then quickly becomes very aquatic. Longevity is 4-5 hours. Reminds me a bit of Alien Aqua Chic.

Golden lemon meringue with a hint of Prada's Candy in the dry down. Suitable for any season, but unfortunately doesn't last on me. The bottle is a beauty.
