The true heart of black pepper
Until yesterday I knew the brand only fleetingly, quasi once read somewhere. My wife and I are this week in Livorno, Tuscany. Yesterday we were in Siena and looked at the cathedral, among other things. For souvenirs we went to the local "Bookshop". My wife went on the way out briefly to the toilet and I waited. Cuore di Pepe Nero sounded interesting, were übrigends all perfumes etc. of Erbario Toscano. A spray on my left sleeve of my softshell jacket and boom, wow. What is that for a grenade? Local time 1:31PM. Second time under the nose, OK, very reminiscent of Terre d'Hermes, but somehow more intense in freshness, peppery and sweet spice. I was still waiting for my wife, my sleeve would not let me go. Even my own scent of yesterday, Jaguar Classic Gold, applied 4 hours earlier with 5 sprays, was no longer perceived by me. Around me was only the "(Cuore) heart of black pepper". I bought a double pack, 30ml shaving gel and 10 ml EdP of the bomber here for 16,50€, mind you in the cathedral. Partly I walked in front of my wife on the way out of the Dom and my wife asked me at least twice how much of it I augesprüht and I said laughing, only once, really. I could not believe it myself. No one can deny the similarity to TdH, but I prefer this one for its durability alone, also because it's fresher, creamier-spicier and just more intensely present. I find everything a few shades better than in TdH. Caution, which can be overdosed with 2 sprays already. Hermes has yes only the Eau Intense Vetiver and ErbarioToscano has snatched away here Hermes the Intense to Terre. So a TdH Intense could smell and polarize. The name is program, the "heart of black pepper.
