Sensual and Seductive
Today I am writing my first review. Until now, I have only managed to make statements, as it is easier for me to describe my scent impressions in short words. Since this fragrance has not received any attention so far - at least in words - and that should urgently change - I am daring to provide a detailed description.
Recently, I was in Florence, the city of perfume. What started as a planned city trip turned into an unplanned scent journey in the truest sense of the word, as Florence offers a multitude of wonderful fragrance houses, venerable, some centuries old, originating from drugstores or pharmacies, but there are also younger houses among them. One day, I strolled through the city and ended up at Erbario Toscano, a small shop that initially did not seem to house high-quality fragrances. In addition to perfumes, room fragrances and cosmetics are part of the portfolio.
Something drew me into this shop, and now I stood in front of the bottles and sniffed my way through. Across the board, I can say that all of them smell high-quality and natural, but this one particularly captivated me.
From the moment I sprayed the fragrance on my skin, I was enchanted by the scent composition and the sensual aura it conveys. The fragrance pyramid is kept simple. Rose, saffron, and oud. And that’s exactly what you get, in fantastic quality. Rose and saffron are wonderfully balanced and smell very natural.
Oud floats in the background the whole time, accompanying rose and saffron on their journey.
As the fragrance develops, the notes unfold and reveal a fascinating combination of floral and spicy nuances. The essence of the Damask rose and the seductive spice of saffron merge into a duet. The floral notes give the fragrance a sensual elegance, while saffron and oud exude a mysterious and captivating note.
What makes "Rosa Zafferano" truly unique are its simple yet incredibly warm, spicy notes. The combination of rose, saffron, and oud creates a strong aura that lasts throughout the day and leaves an unforgettable scent. Although the combination of notes is nothing new, it is still unique and extraordinary.
The longevity of "Rosa Zafferano" is very good. The fragrance lingers on the skin for hours and develops wonderfully without being too overpowering. The sillage is not too strong, allowing the fragrance to be present without overwhelming. However, it should be applied sparingly. I recommend no more than three sprays.
The packaging is also worth mentioning. Each fragrance is dedicated to a special journey through the landscapes of Tuscany and is printed with beautiful images. Egisto Bertozzi has created an olfactory journey with this line that he dedicates to his homeland. And he has truly succeeded!
