Pear on top note
I’ve been excited to get my scentbird sample of this particular perfume. They screwed up my January order and were sending me other things so I had to complain. It ended up with the entire order being a total mess. But anyway, I digress.
What a lovely perfume, definitely worth the wait. I smell citrus on the top note, a little bit bitter, but fresh.
Hyacinth and lily-of-the-valley come up next. It’s absolutely lovely. It reminds me of my grandma‘s hillside garden back in the 1970s.
Vetiver is the last note. Normally I consider that more of a masculine scent, but it works very well with this perfume. I would say it’s more of a spring/summer perfume, or to be worn when you are missing warmer days.
