It is evening in the small harbor town of Crotone in southern Italy. We stroll along the V. Le Cristofo Colombo, a large promenade right by the sea. There are restaurants and bars here, the salty sea air mingling with the scents from the restaurants.
With an open shirt, loose linen pants, and loafers, we are looking for the right place to dine tonight. The fragrance of my choice for this evening: Zegna Intenso Limited Edition
For me, it is the southern Italian interpretation of Armani Code Parfum with a bit more citrus. A little spicier. But just as light, not at all overpowering. You can faintly smell the mandarin and cardamom. Amber and cedar round off the fragrance and provide a pleasant finish.
Of course, the longevity is unfortunately not as I would ideally like it to be. But for a good 4 hours, both others and I can perceive the scent. The sillage is moderate. However, if someone comes within a meter of you, they will notice your pleasant aroma.
My partner is often overwhelmed by my fragrances, but when I wear this one, she regularly tells me how good I smell today.
A fragrance for gentlemen who do not impose themselves but have hidden qualities.
