Interesting Facts
Ermenegildo Zegna is an Italian privately owned family business. The founder of the company Angelo Zegna already owned a small weaving mill, which he christened Wollweberei Zegna, and passed it on to his son in 1923. The eponymous luxury clothing company produced mainly high-quality fabrics for suits and uniforms worldwide and was eventually renamed "Ermenegildo Zegna" to better reflect the chief designer and owner.

Ermenegildo Zegna continued to improve and build the company and passed it on to his sons Angelo and Aldo Zegna shortly before his death in 1966. From 1968, the portfolio was expanded to include men's suits and, from 1972, made-to-measure collections.
Ermenegildo Zegna completely redefined the rules of men's luxury clothing. In addition to men's shoes (sneakers, casual, moccasins, etc.) and accessories (bags, belts, ties, caps, perfume, etc.), the brand primarily features high-quality men's collections and unique, state-of-the-art pieces. The ever-growing clientele base appreciates above all the finest textiles and fabrics commonly used in the luxury sector. In addition, there is a pleasant restraint in design as well as a touch of functionality.
Any man dressed in Ermenegildo Zegna has nothing to prove and is far away from flashy appearances. So it can also happen that the actor Robert De Niro immediately implements an entire advertising campaign for Ermenegildo Zegna.
Zegna collections are sold online as well as some house boutiques in the German metropolises and worldwide.
