I have a batch from the first generation. I don't get any impression of synthetics - on the contrary, it starts off quite rough. The rose is very subtle. The scent develops to be very spicy-warm. Oud is present from start to finish.

The main thing is that it has rose in it...

The name promises a lot, but I'm out when it comes to synthetic oud.

I used to really like the whole line. It might also be because I always found Zegna as a designer quite likable. However, looking back now, some of those fragrances have become relatively insignificant to me.

I really like Belletrud's Freshies. It would be worth a try :)

This scent is anything but a freshy. It's warm and spicy.

It's probably because the house doesn't want to "scare off" its upscale clientele with too natural of an oud.

For me, yes, because I definitely don't find it synthetic at all.

Back in 2012, that might have been somewhat innovative.

It won't hurt anyone for sure. Twelve years ago, oud and rose weren't so overdone.

*It starts with a somewhat bitter-green aroma, reminiscent of cardamom. Then it quickly becomes warm and woody, with a rather soft and approachable Oud that definitely comes off as synthetic. The rose does what rose does-nothing special, nothing harmful. Solid.*
