Very helpful Review
For Tilda and Cate and all the others...
Romantic gem - this is the German translation of this wonderful fragrance.
The cameo, surrounded by numerous facets, is meant to symbolize a very special woman, a jewel, in her entirety, and this has been excellently achieved here.
The beginning is bright, graceful, lightly sweet, and reminiscent of fine skin creams. It captivates from the very start, wavering between elegance and comfort.
Citrusy sprinkles join in, and iris brings a large dose of powder with it.
Gradually, the fragrance gains more ground, solidifies, and makes its grand entrance.
Heavy sweetness and caressing vanilla play with closeness and distance, seduction and rejection, promising much.
What will the wearer think?
This is the fragrance I would have chosen for Tilda Swinton (not Like This, the pumpkin-carrot mélange). I can also see Cate Blanchett wearing it, as they are both women with a cool, ethereal presence and innate elegance, equally enchanting in a white men's shirt as in an evening gown.
