Ethereal water flowers
A super pretty 90s aquatic floral for spring and summer. Vicolo Fiori reminded me of Laura by Laura Biagiotti when I first tried it, but tested side by side, they're quite different. Laura is much fruitier, Vicolo Fiori is more floral, like the name suggests. But the ethereal, watery feel and nostalgia factor are similar in both. I still like Laura a little more, but this is beautiful, too.
The note that stands out the most to me is cyclamen, with lotus and waterlily coming next. They are all fresh and transparent, but not too thin. A hint of soapy musk adds a creamy and slightly powdery base that anchors the scent. The fruit notes are subtle, but i think they keep the florals from leaning too soapy. I can sense traces of peach, watermelon and citrus, and it seems to vary from day to which fruit is the most noticeable.
The overall scent is very close to the listed notes, except for the base, which is really just musky and not as warm as vanilla, amber and sandalwood make it sound.
