Cares for the hands even while washing up

There are indeed people who have used Pril apple flavor as a cake aroma, due to the pretty illustration on the bottle; this danger is eliminated here, Evody saves itself the elaborate packaging design, which they don't need, after a whiff everything is clear. Washing up. First the dishes, then this scent.

Apples, and specifically the green, sour variety, awaken neither the vitamin friend nor the cleaning lady in me. Much more, the perfume appeals to my guilty conscience, perhaps because of the aforementioned, absent professions in this household.

So we note, apples and soap. No berries, flowers, trees...
A big grab into the disinfected citrus toilet.

Golden Lemon

I can only agree with my predecessors and shake my head in wonder at what Evody understands by Pomme d'Or, or Golden Apple.
What I smell is actually light-years away from the core fruit plant and reveals itself more as an ordinary lemon, where even the adjective "gold" is an exaggeration.

Lemon is unfortunately the only thing I perceive in Pomme d'Or. Neither bergamot nor lime, let alone any other promised ingredients, can be found here, just a minimal herbaceousness with bitter nuances.

In fact, I have smelled something like this far too often and much better. The association with cheap cleaning products is inevitable.

Apparently, Evody has also noticed this by now and has removed Pomme d'Or from their lineup before someone awards them the Golden Lemon for misleading consumers.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away...

I have no idea what kind of apples Aglae Nicolas knows, but the apples I know smell different. Golden lime would be my suggestion.

Pomme d'Or is fresh and citrusy, especially citrusy. The sweetness is limited and thus the scent is not unpleasant, but the theme is missed.

While waiting for the blossoms, Pomme d'Or completely disappeared. Well, there are plenty of summery citrus scents after all.

Test finished, scent forgotten. Period!

Goldapple

A beautiful alternative to Bergamotto di Calabria by Aqua di Parma. The ingredient list is similar, in the Aqua the cedar is already present in the heart, a hint of ginger, and in the end, it becomes soft-woody with benzoin, musk, and vetiver.

The Pomme d'Or varies in the heart with juniper and lotus, finishing with oak moss and cedar.

Both fragrances are wonderfully bergamot-herb. A refreshment without sweetness and without too much lemon.

While the Aqua di Parma is relatively fleeting as an EdT, the woody base of the Pomme d'Or EdP holds up a bit better. In terms of price, there’s hardly a comparison: Aqua 60ml EdT for €50, Pomme 50ml EdP for €69. Here it’s left to personal preference whether one prefers to reapply more often or to have a slightly more persistent, yet a tad woodier Goldapple around.

That reminds me of something: in many fairy tales, the orange is mentioned as Pomeranze. In the Middle Ages, oranges were also called gold apples. If one is looking for a similarity between Pomme d'Or and Donna Karan's apple, faaaaalsch.

Like a Fresh Shower :o)

a scent like a fresh shower, very citrusy and sporty. my better half mentioned that it has a medium-strength soapy note - I agree with him :) it's not directly for me, but otherwise, it is definitely recommended for all citrus lovers who enjoy a fresh and clean scent.
