Pirata Extró Aftershave Eau de Toilette

Extro - Never heard of it before.
But as a shaving man, who has let his passion "run wild," at least that's what the lady of the house thinks -.) - I am constantly searching for new innovations.
The attentive man keeps coming across the Italians.
Yes, yes, they really know how to "brew" scents .-)

Now I have "blindly" ordered two fragrances from the extensive series of "Extro" from a well-known domestic mail order specializing in Italian products.
1 x "Arzachera," an EdT & AS, and this one here, a pure AS, with the catchy title "Pirata."
But no worries! Upon opening the bottle, no bottle spirit in the form of an evil pirate with a typical eye patch and armed with a hook comes out.
No ship is boarded and no sword is drawn. On the contrary, everything proceeds quite peacefully and rather sweetly.
In the brief description of the scent on the seller's website, I noticed something about "old barber" - but it seems to mean that the scent was (is supposed to be) used by old barbers...
I wouldn't know how to interpret what an "old" barber smells like. .-)

The scent comes in a round bottle with a 125ml content.
Grippy, full-handed - I like that early in the morning, that the "paw" has something to hold on to. .-)
It fits well in the hand and is, what I appreciate very much, a splash bottle!
So one can, as I love to do after shaving, "fill" the hand and "splash" the scent on the face -
- the shaving men here in the forum surely know what I mean -
The immediately "striking" feature, through the crystal-clear bottle, is the slightly reddish content.
Depending on the light, it reminds me of that Ahoj (sailor) raspberry soda that children used to love to drink.

The scent is spicy-sweet to me. With notes of cinnamon, patchouli, and sandalwood, it is rather sweet, has something,
how should I put it, at the beginning of a chewing gum scent. Those red balls that we used to pull from the vending machines for a penny as kids.
Of course after school, since chewing was still forbidden in class... .-)
What else was there? Oh, yes, the "old" barber-?
Yes, it reminds me of what is often referred to today as "barber scent."
Later, the slightly spicy-woody note comes through, without losing the sweetness that lasts longer for an AS.
For me, although a blind purchase, it is not a bad purchase!
I will gladly take a look at one or another Extro scent over time....
It’s simply worth it for a man to engage with Extro, as the prices are really not overpriced.
So for those who prefer it rather sweet, but not overly sweet with good spice, "Pirata" is a great choice.
