In the Garden of the Sultan
At Harem I think first of all of the fairy tales from 1001 Nights and of Sheherazade. To beautiful women with dark hair wrapped in gorgeous robes. Of course also to a wonderful garden or probably rather to a park, with magnificent flowers and all kinds of animals. But does the fragrance also live up to its name? Yes, he does.
At the beginning I perceive liquorice which is not listed in the pyramid. Bergamot and lavender, on the other hand, are not. Then it becomes buttery, soft and chocolaty, with a slightly bitter note. Sure, there's cocoa in it and no milk chocolate.
In the further course I smell cinnamon, which is possibly still mixed with other spices, which I cannot identify more closely. A hint of myrrh and a hint of incense (not sacral) blows around my nose before it becomes sweet, vanilla and warm, probably due to the sandalwood. So beautiful I could bathe in it. With soft, golden vanilla the fragrance finally ends.
With me harem lasts about 7 to 8 hours, but only close to the body, but for a cologne this is a more than remarkable achievement. On my sweater I could still perceive the scent very clearly the day after.
I can't say anything about the bottle, because this beautiful fragrance came to me as a bottling. So far this brand was completely unknown to me and I had no idea that in Turkey such wonderful fragrances are produced.
