unexpected great love
I stumbled upon this fragrance by chance. I ordered a discovery set from the niche label Fumparfum and let it all come to me. The pharmacist was love at first sniff.
With the pimento note in the foreground and the noticeable accompaniment of woods, the fragrance gives me something warm, cozy, beautiful, and yet extraordinary. As a general fan of pimento, I feel safe and at home. It feels rounded and has that certain something.
Pimento is a note that I have never smelled in a perfume before. I am all the more excited. The question is - why is this note not used more prominently in perfumes? Of course, it could also be due to my relatively limited fragrance horizon... I will set out to explore.
Despite the name, I feel nothing unpleasant or medicinal. The scent is spicy-woody, feels special without being aloof. One thing is certain: I need a whole bottle of this. This is how I want to smell.
