Vetiver Farfalla

“A wonderful combination of freshness and warm, masculine sensuality.” This is written by Farfalla about this fragrance. Warm masculine sensuality? Not so much for my nose. For me, it’s a very fresh scent, but not citrusy freshness, rather a green-grassy freshness, maybe a bit bitter and just a tiny little bit sweet. Not an oriental fragrance. Nothing musty, powdery, earthy, or woody. When I first smelled this fragrance, I had to think of licorice! Although I have no idea what licorice smells like. It’s been ages since I ate licorice. I can’t detect any similarity to real vetiver oil (which I have at home). For me, it’s a lovely scent for spring and summer. Suitable for work but also quite appropriate for evenings out (at least in summer).
Although it’s just an Eau Fraîche, the longevity is good to mediocre.
