Warmer Balsam in trügerisch kühler Verpackung
After a long time, I finally had the opportunity to visit a perfume shop again today. I had wanted to test Alpine Blue for a long time.
In my imagination, there should be a cool scent inside this blue packaging, but far from it: After a citrusy top note that quickly dissipates, the fragrance becomes warmer and warmer. Very woody and balsamic. Is that the balsam fir? I never smell the cool mint. I also catch an illusion of patchouli. Is that the iris? And somehow there’s also a spicy hint of cinnamon in the air. In the end, a woody-warm drydown remains. A wonderful, skin-close, and warm scent. But the name and the blue packaging somehow don't match. It's a pity, because this natural perfume is miles away from the usual citrus variants in this category. For those who are not deterred: definitely give it a try!

Sehr interessant, dass Du ihn als warm empfindest. Das kann ich nicht teilen. Auch Zimt nehme ich nicht wahr. Spannend, wie unterschiedlich Eindrücke sein können.
