Something is bothering me…
we're not getting along. I actually wanted to get another fragrance from Farfalla and ended up with this one. The attempt to own a scent that smells like "freshly showered" and "laundry." The blue packaging promised me that. However, it didn't really keep its promise. I liked it. Maybe that's precisely why. Something different.
I like slightly powdery scents…when after some time of wearing, it goes in an interesting, cozy direction. Here, however, it somehow remains powdery without a statement, without development.
When I smell the bottle, it actually has everything I like plus a nuance that I wear rather rarely. Something fresher, sea-breezy.
I can't put my finger on it, but I'm missing the joy in this scent. It doesn't give me a headache, but it doesn't really make me happy either. Yes, sometimes I use it because it theoretically smells good, and now and then, we try again… and then I realize again: I'm doing just fine without it. I won't miss it when it's finally empty.
Yet it really doesn't smell bad. Maybe I'm just missing my vanilla? Or a few years of life experience? I somehow feel too young for this scent - and that's with being over 40. And officially, I don't think there's a right age for fragrances; ultimately, it's always a matter of taste. I'm confused myself, please… gladly :-)
