Dark green unit

- A short commentary -

My Ecarté flacon is dark green with a gold-coloured ball as a screw cap.

The fragrance starts oakmossy-fresh and I think there are some spicy flowers (cloves? lavender?) in the background.
The colour of the bottle perfectly matches the fragrance, as it is oakmossy green, but more on the fresh side.
Maybe it is a chypre, but the bergamot is hardly noticeable anymore (age?), and in the back there could be labdanum in it, but the drydown smells more like a soft musk on me, which I find - very unusual - sometimes really pleasant,
and above all the fragrance remains soft and mossy until the end.
The flowers depicted on the bottle above barely make it through and lag behind the other notes.
All in all, the fragrance develops more of a dark green skin-scent, which is clearly but not excessively noticeable. But I also only spotted a little - if you spray generously, it might behave differently.

Conclusion: The fragrance is as green as the bottle!
Unisex, summery, pleasant
