In the old library, it's nice to relax in the leather armchair. But one glass too many and the wrong resin thrown in the fireplace*

Too bad, whisky is almost always too sweet in scent...

After "library" and "leather armchair," my brain just shut down. Was there more?

Basically, it's a really nice scent, but there was just too much going on for me (and it felt "disorganized").

These days, you really have to be careful about what you throw in the fireplace.

Didn鈥檛 convince me. It was quite subtle on me and not as warm as I had hoped.

Unfortunately, not as good as my Lagavulin.

I know Glen Scotia because I was interested in Campbeltown for a while, but not Victoriana. The thing with Lagavulin was a joke anyway. 馃槈 It's peated after all.

@Yatagan: With the Italians, "whisky" refers to liqueur. And Lagavulin is something completely different. Have you tried Glen Scotia Victoriana yet?

I find the top notes really overwhelming, with a slight bubblegum vibe; I often get that from orange blossom.

Thank you so much, PET!
Well, you definitely have to get through the top note. After about two minutes, a sweet floral something fades away.
For a brief moment, a nice whiskey follows, which unfortunately gets sweetened.
Patchouli-chocolate accompanies you in the library, which has been smoked with styrax.
Boy oh boy...
In the secret compartment of the bookshelf lies a soapy vetiver classic, still collecting dust.
Everything nicely framed in wood.
Less sweetness, and this would surely be a showstopper - um - a scent stopper. ;-)
