Angels Share for men!

Walking through the streets of a wonderful rainy Florence we stepped into the historic wooden boutique of Farmacia Ss. Annunziata, where a lovely girl with a beautiful florentine accent welcomed us.

The name of this fragrance immediately caught my attention and i asked if i could try it.
The first sniff left us stunned! A fine glass of whisky! The opening is strikingly realistic, with boozy and chocolatey notes, almost like biting one of those dark chocolate pralines filled with liqueur.

As it dries down, the alcohol softens and gives way to some spicy facets, coffee, fruity hints reminiscent of dates that sweeten the blend, and a subtle smoky touch that I suppose comes from the oud.

Warm, cozy, and perfectly suited for cold weather, it lasted all day on my skin with beautiful wafts in that rainy air. The memory is still in my mind.

To me, it feels like the “for men” version of Angel’s Share: more masculine, more affordable, yet just as high in quality.
I came back in the afternoon and happily brought a bottle home as a souvenir

The name speaks for itself!

Whisky nobile, it's a strongly masculine, boozy, and elegant fragrance, but it could also be worn by a woman who likes this kind of fragrances.
Among the main notes are coffee, spices, leather, and obviously whiskey, on a woody and creamy/sweet base.
All the ingredients are perfectly blended and balanced with each others...
However, there is something that makes it really unique: maybe the note of storax? or frankincense?
I don't know... I'm not able to fully recognize the notes, but there's something inside that makes it addictive.
Also, on certain moments, I smell something like tobacco (even though it's not listed in the pyramid) so it's just a personal perception..
Anyway, I discovered it by chance at Esxence and I immediately ordered a 10 ml sample for testing when I came back... I was keep thinking at this good fragrance all the time!
However, it must be said that as fragrance it's not suitable for spring or summer, but only for the autumn and winter seasons.
Then it goes without saying that anyone is free to wear it whenever they want, but it gives the best in these two seasons!
P.S. the quality-price is great, the 50 ml format can be found on their official website for about 88€.

Emancipation from Societal Norms through Boozy Passion

Hello to EVERYONE!
I haven't been on Parfumo for long, but I frequently come across comments from the male gender claiming that a fragrance is rather unsuitable for women. More stylish are statements that speak of feminine or masculine scent notes.

First of all, we are all human, and calling a woman the weaker sex is, in my opinion, very presumptuous.
Just as little can a person know what another person likes!!
I admire the courage of Mr. Clintw++d in his review to claim that this fragrance Whisky Nobile is only for gentlemen, as in his association, women would be too weak to engage in serious or even offensive conversations, and thus wear this fragrance....?!

This subtle statement clearly leads me to conclude that he has an outdated mindset, and therefore, I would personally recommend Mr. Clintw++d to emancipate himself from old ways of thinking before he (probably accidentally) makes a thoughtless statement that discriminates against the female gender.

I now distance myself from this discrimination and urge all women who may have avoided this fragrance due to Mr. Clintw++d's statement to please give this fragrance a try.

Because this fragrance is truly 100% Unisex!!!

So that ALL fragrance lovers can understand what a brilliant scent Whisky Nobile is, I am taking EVERYONE on my scent journey.

Please everyone, hop on, we're off.

"Pfft" once on my wrist and off we go.

Top Note:

I smell something nutty. It faintly reminds me of a fine tobacco leaf. Vanilla is present as well.
The fragrance accord does justice to its musical inspiration. Wonderful scent notes of coffee, cocoa, tobacco, and vanilla alternate. A slight smokiness becomes perceptible to me.
It is very subtle and noble.

I can't help but smile thinking of Robin Scherbatsky from "How I Met Your Mother," as she, together with Barney Stinson, smokes a cigar in a club chair and casually pours whisky down her throat.
And with exactly this image, we move into the heart note, into the soul of the perfume.

Heart/Soul Note:

A lightly smoky spice slowly spreads. It is a pleasantly sweet, relaxing, and inviting spice. It must be the spice and sweetness of cocoa and whisky that, in a beautifully mixed circle, reach out their hands and dance together. They glide over the dance floor and swirl up smoky haze.
This connection sparkles with passion and is the highlight of the fragrance.

Drydown/Base:

The highlight doesn't last long either. After about an hour, the passionate heart accord sinks exhausted onto a soft bed of gentle vanilla. The two main characters cuddle into the saffron pillows and cover themselves with a light leather-oud blanket.

So close and harmoniously, the two fall asleep together.

Conclusion:

More sound than smoke, but definitely worth a try!!!

It was supposed to be a gift...

I received a small sample of the fragrance and just tried it out.
At first, I was a bit put off by the "Whisky" in the name, as I, as a woman, didn’t necessarily want to smell like a liquor store. However, out of curiosity, I bravely sprayed it on my wrist. And yes, what can I say... It was LOVE at the first sniff... People, I am simply at a loss for words. It has a whisky note at the beginning, yes, but this comes together with a fine espresso. Later, it became softer and gentler. The composition is so incredibly harmonious and perfect. At first, I associated it with a mafia boss. Tailored suit in a Chesterfield chair, a glass of whisky in hand, and an espresso beside him. Somehow I thought right away: Yes! That’s him! The perfect gift for my father for his birthday!
This morning, I sat at my makeup table and thought about which perfume I wanted to wear today. The fragrance sample of "Whisky Nobile" was smiling at me challengingly. I: OK! I find you wonderful, why shouldn’t I wear you too? I then took it to the office. And what can I say? It smells so wonderful on me! I can’t handle it! I feel invincible and totally attractive with this scent. I let my father sniff me. He: It really smells great!

So: Now we have a problem... How am I supposed to gift this fragrance? Should I just order it twice? It’s not exactly a bargain... But it’s just AWESOME!! What should I do?
Unfortunately, I will only be able to answer this question myself.

Boozy, Gourmand & luxurious

One of the most luxurious boozy fragrances with a whiskey note.
A beautiful and unique scent of Arabic roasted coffee with luxurious Malaysian incense and a sweet aroma represented by orange peels.
With incense providing a sweet-spicy scent and whiskey and cocoa penetrating in an astonishing way, it feels warm during cold times.

After more than half an hour, whiskey accompanies us with coffee and cocoa on the base, creating an amazing interplay that seeks the gourmand scent, whether it be coffee and whiskey or cocoa and whiskey!!!

After about an hour, we are greeted by a very soft leather scent with some saffron and plenty of vanilla, and the whiskey stays with us until the end, where I can smell luxurious Damascene sweets at the base.
This fragrance is represented in 4 consecutive places:
A café, a bar, a pharmacy, a sweet gourmand restaurant.
