Fresh spring
When you hear the word Acqua, you actually expect a sparkling fragrance that has a touch of body spray and goes towards 4711. The kind of thing that has served you well in recent days. But with this fragrance, the word is misleading. It is a pleasant, fresh, clean, but by no means super-fresh fragrance that can be worn in the shade at 35 degrees without hesitation. It makes its grand entrance in late spring, when nature awakens.
The beginning is citrusy, giving the impression of aqua. Does well. A little later, it is complemented by fresh green, slightly bitter notes, lily of the valley, clear to sniff and rose. A little fruity too. This is how it smells outside at the end of May, when the last lilies of the valley and the first roses are in bloom. Fresh, delicate, floral but still with pep. Musk rounds everything off creamily. Lasts for 4-5 hours.
A discreet, unobtrusive fragrance that stands out without being out of the ordinary. It didn't pass the midsummer test for me in the past few days. But I don't find that tragic, because when is it that hot? When it's like this, I hardly like smelling fragrances.
