Sorcinelli's cooling, peppery, metallic incense pitted against smooth, orangey woods, caramel. A creamier alternative to Au Coeur du Désert.

@Wusubi orangey woods + caramel sounds so good, but I saw you mentioned balsamic - how balsamic is it, to you?

@Wusubi thank you for the recommendation, I definitely gravitate towards creamy/lactonic!

@Gourmandgrl it’s starting to become one of my fav scent profiles (Loudo, Ether).
Amber is prominent here, so it’s quite balsamic. For a creamier, even lactonic experience, check out Voix Humaine 8.

I still have to go through most of my Sarcinelli samples, but to date this one seemed to be the most interesting... his usual incense is there, and I like the peculiar woody twist.

@Merlotsupern agreed, this one is well-constructed.
For me, Violon Basse 16 was the standout. Fougère-ish incense hits different!

Thanks, sounds pretty good actually. On the sweet side or more subdued, matos-style?

Definitely more nuanced, amber and vanilla don't dictate the pace. Rather, they underline elemi's citrusy, peppery nuances, making it more balsamic and more pleasant on the nose than Tauer's alchemy.
