I keep on falling in love with it, deeper and deeper
I really like "dark" perfumes, scents that have some depth to them. That's what it feels like, at least. Not airy.. or overly fruity and sweet - but rather dark, moody, and mysterious. That's how I want to smell like, that's what feels right!
Especially during my favorite season of the year, autumn, this really rings true. And this perfume matches that vibe so perfectly. I'll do my best to describe my love for this scent, I've looked for similar perfumes but I just ahven't been able to find any that hit the spot just like ennui_noir . Also can I just say how GORGEOUS that bootle looks? I love this design.
It has a very unique vibe to it. I don't know if that's the heliotrope note or the myrtle, I can't really explain it. It's spicy alright, but not in an aggressive way- it doesn't blast you with spices where you'd immediately think of spice cabinets (looking at you Ambre sultan Eau de Parfum ). That touch of lavender really balances it out super nicely. At its core, it's a woody patchouli vanilla fragrance that is surrounded by subtle spice notes and soothing florals. And it does that so well, it's super gorgeous.
This fragrance is my go-to for colder weather. If I don't know what fragrance to wear, no matter the occasion, I can choose ennui_noir . It's both elegant but also casual because it's not super complex, really. It's like a dark soothing blanket that you can cover yourself in.. and that's exactly what I need.
