Iceland's stifling cold
Jöklalykt deals with the changing nature and melting glaciers of Iceland - fittingly, the fragrance is cold, tart, smoky and has a certain freshness and austerity.
It hisses, you could be standing by a surf, but also on a glacier in typical Icelandic weather when the wind blows against you. If you have ice in front of your eyes, you can also literally feel the ash (and the earthy notes) that run through the glaciers.
For me, the fragrance changes only slightly as it progresses, becoming somewhat milder and more yielding, but without changing the basic feeling.
A typical, rough, special fragrance for Fischersund, which always manages to capture the nature of the country in the nose.
