My Vanilla Veil... Mono but Oh Wow!
With my vanilla-sniffing nose, I discovered the wonderfully soft fragrance water "alla Vaniglia" by Fitocose a few years ago. Since then, it has been my constant companion, my delicate vanilla veil, my gentle soul comforter...
The scent has no development: It is a mono vanilla fragrance without interpretation or incorporation of vanilla into other notes, but I like that. This vanilla scent is neither dark, smoky, heavy, artificial, rubbery, nor too sweet... but simply the most beautiful, pure vanilla pod that you can sniff: soft, warm, sweetish, slightly gourmand. The scent is thus very realistic and not perfumey.
I love to envelop myself from head to toe in it and transform into a little vanilla pod...
The longevity is not bad at all for such a fragrance water. When I wear only Vaniglia, it lasts a solid 6 hours. (But I also have vanilla skin; any vanilla scents last super well on me.)
The sillage is rather moderate, and the scent becomes close to the skin. As soon as you combine Vaniglia with another perfume (with medium to strong sillage), you can no longer perceive Vaniglia as well, since the scent intensity is very mild. However, I also like to use Vaniglia to refresh other vanilla scents or to improve their longevity. Vaniglia contains, among other things, fatty acids that act like little anchors for the fragrance molecules.
The natural cosmetics formulation is alcohol-free and contains nourishing ingredients for the skin, including aloe vera, making it very suitable for people with sensitive or dry skin. I can also recommend Vaniglia for the summer, as it never feels too much or exaggerated.
At ecco-verde, the Scented Water Vaniglia by Fitocose cost 9-10 euros and is worth every cent to me.
