Rose, delayed by approx. 30-40 minutes due to urgent woodwork
Oppulent and smoky saddled, the rose rides through the forest, at the beginning even the logs glow at the edge of the path, fir tops (?) give short tangy signposts, wickedly as if the rose had done something secret yesterday, it is on its way
It needs time and you get the impression that it is fighting its way through smoky, partly resinous undergrowth and leather notes. Only after a while does it become perceptible for the first time, in a small clearing. A little rose.
It soaps itself discreetly to shed the smoky haze a little. But it takes a really long time to blossom. Then sandalwood comes to the rescue and supports it. Very special.
At first, the fragrance reminded me very strongly of Galop d'Hermès https://www.parfumo.de/Parfums/Hermes/Galop_d_Hermes but here it is more masculine, more tart, almost powerful at first, in any case very special, quirky.
You have to like the smoke. The oud. I would tend to identify Rose&Oud almost more as a men's fragrance.
Flacon: looks simple, but is very heavy and somewhat top-heavy despite the thick base. Striking: the graphic on the label seems to have slipped a little, but discreetly reflects the slant of the fragrance.
Note: the eau de parfum leaves a visible, oily film on the skin, be careful with clothing made of sensitive fabrics. Spray mist relatively coarse.
