A Fragrance Black as the Night

My Love Has the Colour of the Night was originally one of the fragrances that never interested me, but after a nice Parfumo member offered me a sample, I thought I’d give it a try, it could be interesting.

It’s been just over a week since I received the sample. I have tested My Love Has the Colour of the Night twice during this time, and somehow I was fascinated by the scent each time. My Love Has the Colour of the Night really smells like the night, a fragrance pitch-black and somehow also symbolic of the unknown in a dark night.

My Love Has the Colour of the Night actually has very few notes, which is not a bad thing here and fits very well. I can smell pepper, patchouli, and guaiac wood. The vetiver adds just a tiny green touch to it all. My Love Has the Colour of the Night has a certain fascination for me. It’s a fragrance that I will probably never buy a bottle of because I would never use it up, but at the same time, I always want to own a sample of My Love Has the Colour of the Night.

The name My Love Has the Colour of the Night might be somewhat inappropriately chosen. I don’t know if it’s necessarily a good thing for love to have the color of the night, or for someone to have this color. The scent is also not suitable for a romantic date or meeting, even though the name suggests this.

The longevity is good for me, with just under 9 hours and a moderate sillage always just under an arm's length and after a little over 6 hours, it’s very close to the skin.

That one was great, I had it in the Discovery Set, I can only agree with you on that.
