I call this an Introverted Gourmand. You might get a blueberry flavoured vape.... or the entire atmosphere of spreading blueberry jam over a warm muffin while tea is brewing on the stove. I get both of these scenarios but at different points. The opening is just not for me - I find it overwhelming and very artificial, the kind of piercing sweetness found in fruity vapes. This stage lasts a good 30 minutes before the fragrance mellows into that godly yet comforting jam + tea scenario I mentioned. At this point I start to enjoy the fragrance more...
This is my "self care" perfume, specifically on a rainy/cloudy day. I don't wear this for indulgence, but for comfort. It's not gourmand in a "I'm hungry right now", but it brings back specific memories of mum and aunts making afternoon tea on a rainy day and all the chatter and the TV noise in the background etc. It is VERY nostalgic, at least to me. I'm sensitive to fruity notes so the top isn't enjoyable but it would be exceptional for someone who enjoys fruit sweetness in their perfumes. I didn't need a 100ml bottle of this since I have Jovoy's Remember Me which fills this gap for me nicely. Might move this one out of my collection, but I would need to try it again in warmer months. Not versatile enough to wear in multiple scenarios. Longevity is respectable. Non-repurchase.
