Yesterday I wrote a statement saying that I could only really perceive the fresh top notes and the rest didn't matter.
An hour later, I decided to use up the remaining drops of the sample and applied it generously. As I was leaving the room, I thought, "Ah cardamom." Cardamom? Where did that suddenly come from?
In fact, I only noticed the remaining fragrance notes in the air after spraying it for the third time.
Today, having really squeezed out the very last drops from the sprayer, I can even perceive the jasmine and the powdery cooling cardamom and nutmeg spice (very gentle) as the first notes.
I've given up on the idea of trying the EdP to perhaps find better longevity, as this has obviously been discontinued.
Conclusion:
Cefiro EdT is for me a fresh citrusy spicy powdery light fragrance that only fully revealed itself to me after the third encounter of the day. The base supports and holds the scent with a fine woody spice, but still - for me - not long enough.
You can have any scent that’s no longer in production made at Floris.
I’m not sure how much that would cost.
I’d suggest giving them a call or sending an email.
I’ll join in on the Souk or at least buy 5 ml from you :)
Best,
Floris scents are light and delicately crafted. Otherwise, with modern rose fragrances, I only smell: rose hip tea. But Floris "White Rose" has a wonderfully soft rose scent for me; however, if you like rose fragrances at all, you should go for the EdP. It seems to be the same with Cefiro, as I tested the EdP and reviewed it on Pafrumo.net. That definitely matches your description; mainly citrusy.
Yes, the scents from this brand embody royal restraint: When you’ve been around since 1730, you don’t need any fanfare! But it’s a shame you didn’t enjoy it for longer!
