Tilleul Cédrat Fragonard 2013

Yesterday, I received a package from Fragonard in my mailbox, and I was very pleased that one of the three fragrance samples was the scent 'Tilleul-Cédrat'.

In the evenings, I take long walks with my dog, both in summer and winter. I especially look forward to the time at the end of June/beginning of July each year when the linden trees start to bloom and release their incomparable fragrance. The scent of the summer linden is wonderful, but the scent of the winter linden is truly captivating. I stop by the winter linden trees, take a deep breath, and feel a sense of happiness when I smell this fragrance. As I continue walking, I already look forward to the next day when I will return.

Back to yesterday: I make myself a tea, sit down, open the package from Fragonard, and apply the scent 'Tilleul-Cédrat'. I smell a bit of linden, and I can clearly detect the violet; I like the fragrance. I feel happy and think I should order this scent.

I keep sniffing the fragrance, and after a relatively short time, it has completely changed. The linden scent and the violet have disappeared, leaving behind an intense soap scent. I am surprised and try again a little later - with the same result.

What a pity, I will not be buying this scent after all.
