Perfect Trio
Of the samples that arrived today with my FB of the lovely Violette, only this fragrance grabbed my attention. It has violet, too, along with Citron and Linden. Can't stop smelling it. Unlike Violette, this isn't a heady floral. It's just a good violet combined with a sophisticated citrus and a fragrant but restrained non-standard wood. The result is a trio that's a delight to smell. It's not strong, mind you, but I'm slathering it on my hand so I can hold it to my nose when I go to bed.
