...this perfume presents itself to me. After opening, you need to let it breathe a little first, so that the whole aroma unfolds. You can immediately tell that you are dealing with a complex enjoyment. In the first few minutes, a rum-soaked mandarin presented in a beautiful wooden bowl comes to the forefront, which then gradually recedes to allow a light leather note, combined with slightly woody scents, to take the lead.
Passion Boisée is certainly not a fragrance that one should judge immediately after the first sniff. It belongs to the scents that can only be assessed after a long-term test on the skin. If I had only been allowed to sniff this fragrance briefly, it certainly would not remain in my collection today. I would have set it aside with the thought "too much." But on my skin, the scent develops in a very pleasant intensity with an appealing scent progression.
On Parfumo, Passion Boisée is currently listed as the lowest-rated Frapin fragrance. I cannot agree with that at all. The sillage is much more pleasant than that of 1697, the longevity is also okay (it lasts all day without any problems), it has a pleasant scent progression, and it clearly distinguishes itself from the mainstream sameness. Therefore, I give it a test recommendation ;)
