Lovely Scent
I’ve been wearing IF for a few days now, and let me just say, this one is criminally slept on. I originally picked it up because everyone kept saying it smelled like Gris Charnel by BDK. I love Gris, so I figured, why not? But after living with it a little... nah, IF is doing its own thing. And honestly, it’s better that way.
It’s sweet, musky, light, and woody, and really smooth, really easy on the nose. It reminds me more of a modern, grown-up Joop! Homme than anything else. Like if Joop! went back to school, got a degree. Same sweetness in the DNA, but cleaned up, matured, and a lot more wearable today. It lasts about 5–6 hours. You do get noseblind pretty quickly, but it’s still working in the background. I got a compliment on day 2 of wearing it, so I know it’s doing its job.
If I had one complaint, it’s that I wish it projected a little stronger. But honestly? I'd still buy it again without even thinking about it. It’s familiar but fresh, easy but grown.
