I found it so straw-like. It reminded me of tatami mats. The intense smell kept me from sleeping in the hotel in Japan. Since then, I've become really sensitive to today’s or straw-like notes.
It starts off very softly green on my skin with a slightly sweet clean note, then gradually becomes more "masculine" in the sense of minimal aftershave vibes (but not overpowering, more like a subtle, well-groomed version). I even roped my husband in to test the theory, and yeah, it suits him better than me.
