Pepper Spray (but in a pleasant way)
Pepper is often limited to its aromatic properties in fragrances, and the sharpness is usually less desirable.
Re-Charge Black Pepper (2014) Eau de Toilette is definitely more ruthless in this regard. Upon spraying, it smells very peppery-sharp (as if the pepper shaker has been spilled). You have to be into that, otherwise this scent will bring you little joy.
Immediately afterwards, it becomes milder, spicier, and, who would have thought?, slightly ethereal. Quite delicious!
A slight citrus and a hint of green support the very spicy base note and create a subtle freshness, while the underlying oak moss provides the ethereal-aromatic quality.
Despite these, especially at the beginning, harsh traits, Re-Charge Black Pepper (2014) Eau de Toilette is surprisingly unisex and can, should, and ought to be worn by any gender in everyday life, business, and leisure.

For 6 hours, it envelops your surroundings, with 2 hours of solid sillage.

If you like pepper, you can't go wrong here, but a test is definitely advisable. Molton Brown's pepper bomb makes no prisoners, especially in the top note, and you should be prepared for that.

Harmonious Blend
Re-Charge Black Pepper presents itself as a spicy, green fragrance with a refreshing, woody note. The fragrance pyramid shows a successful balance of the various elements:

Top Note: The refreshing top note combines ginger, black pepper, and lemon, instantly creating a lively and spicy aura.

Heart Note: In the heart note, nuances of violet leaves, basil, and coriander unfold, adding depth and sophistication to the fragrance.

Base Note: The base note is characterized by oak moss, amber, and vetiver, which lend the perfume a warm and sensual touch and ensure a long-lasting scent effect.

Jacques Chabert, the perfumer behind this fragrance, has undoubtedly proven his talent by creating a harmonious blend of spicy, fresh, and woody notes.

In terms of longevity and sillage (the projection of the fragrance), I would say that Re-Charge Black Pepper is solid but not overwhelming. It is a fragrance that accompanies the wearer throughout the day without being intrusive.

Mild-Spicy Allrounder
Black Pepper starts in my nose just like that: with black pepper. But it doesn't prick too strongly in my nose, which might be due to the lemon and ginger that accompany it in the top notes. It then becomes slightly herbal and soapy, but remains fundamentally spicy. Re-Charge Black Pepper is never dominant, but has a medium to low sillage with good longevity. This makes RCBP an allrounder, well-suited for the office, after-work drinks with colleagues, or generally in leisure time. However, for a special occasion, I would probably choose a different fragrance.

Various shades of green, more bitter than fresh, combine with a ginger freshness kick and a moderate white pepper note: a good MB.

The pepper must have run out here. A herbal-green mix with a noticeable ginger in the opening and vetiver in the base. A solid everyday scent.

Pepper with A LOT of ginger and lemon, then deliciously green contoured, finally an amber-nutty-oak moss depth for men with °°°

Charming herbal scent with aftershave vibes. Ginger and lemon provide a lot of summery freshness. Too masculine for me.

Rather lightly smoky than peppery, pleasantly mild spicy-green. Not a huge standout in the end. A nice mainstream everwalker.

Fresh, completely soft ginger, mild lemon, and cheeky coriander create a bright herbal mix (but where's the pepper?).

Extreme pepper explosion! Not my type of scent at all, yet I find it very interesting and different. Pepper-fresh-green-spicy-strong

Peppery lemon, supported by ginger, becomes softer over time and unfortunately turns more old-school with my least favorite oak moss.

For me, it's just a lightly peppery scent without sneezing fits. It starts citrusy + green, with the pepper always present. Ginger adds spice. In the dry down, it's soft + soapy.
