Crème Cassis Brûlée

Blackcurrant doesn't always work. Scratchy, sweaty, sour... for those who want to experience it authentically and pleasantly, I recommend "Malena," which is also offered by Fueguia.

La Cautiva is a completely different story and clearly belongs to the gourmand territory. Fruity-soft, almost with a hint of gum sweetness at the start. Slightly sour, but no more than a rhubarb crumble buried under pudding. Harmoniously rounded and above all... delicious! Over the hours, a toasted caramel note ignites fantasies of Crème Brûlée. A bit of malt, or at times toffee. A perfume dessert that doesn't slip into unbearable sweetness thanks to the blackcurrant. Tasty!

However, La Cautiva doesn't want to be just a dessert, as the captivating prisoner who enchants the Indian survived on me for almost three days, including showers. I can confirm Fröschlein's note on good longevity; it's almost eerily good performance for a natural scent.

Gourmands often fall into the category of "I love the smell, but I wear them rarely and get tired of them quickly." I would categorize La Cautiva more in the feminine corner. Nevertheless: If I had a bottle of this at home, I would want to wear it from time to time. Or rather, smell it on someone nice who can be close to me. Tasty!

Oh what a pity, I would have loved to smell Crème Brûlée too!
I usually feel the same way about gourmands as you do: they can get overwhelming on me, but heavenly on others. The other day at the supermarket, there was a young woman in front of me at the checkout with a waffle scent. I was really sad when she finished and left.
By the way, I still have a bottle with about 30ml left to get rid of ;)
