Spectral gourmand
Fueguia and that's it.
Another truly quality and niche scent although very easy to wear.
Powdered blackcurrant, Vanilla cloud, muskiness with a hint of hidden rose.
Spectral, luminous and creamy.
Tart nuances of fruit are toned down but blackcurrant smells so natural.
Even better that beand is not so widely known but if is ultra top notch.

Crystal Veil
The blackcurrant is positioned exactly between berry and green. In this balance, both the prickliness of the fruit and the carpet-foam quality of the green are cut off. A generous layer of sugar ensures that the scent certainly does not bite. However, it is by no means banal, as the sweetness is contrasted with a hint of fresh green. If this is a sweetness, it is of an elysian quality that far surpasses the capabilities of any candy. Yes, the first few minutes can even be a delight for those who generally find little enjoyment in gourmand fragrances.

Equally exquisite is the use of gentle vanilla, which, despite the sugary environment, does not become overly sweet - nor does it display the dark, bitter, almost smoky potential that sometimes swells in other natural scents.

After barely two hours, the blackcurrant is practically gone, and our softly sugary vanilla reigns. By late morning, it brushes the edge of excess, with only a strangely crystalline veil maintaining a light touch. Throughout the afternoon, the contribution of the fruit gently swells again, so that the scent ultimately returns in a wide arc to the vicinity of the noble super-candy of the opening. The journey of ‘La Cautiva’ is thus a truly well-rounded affair.

The prominently placed musk in the notes (also from the manufacturer) behaves - fortunately, in my opinion - subtly throughout the day. Only in the evening does it become more noticeable, as everything slowly and quietly fades away.

I thank the robin for the sample.

Sweet-Bitter Delicacy for the Beauties of Buenos Aires.
First vanilla cream with berries, then bitter-fruity, and always fuller and darker. Delicious. Really. And every woman in Argentina wants to smell seductive! Like here, after a sweet-bitter little fruit, a delightful treat from the sweet patisseries of Buenos Aires.

And somehow everything fits: the Argentine man (and connoisseur, but who isn't there) calls out sweet nothings to the ladies on the street. Like "Caramello!", "Bonbon!", "Que dulcura!" (what sweetness!). "Que rica" (how delicious) is, however, almost suggestive.... But at least? he proves his good taste!
The ladies, in turn, expect such calls. If they are absent, it is a sure sign of a serious mistake in today’s morning toilette.

Crème Cassis Brûlée
Blackcurrant doesn't always work. Scratchy, sweaty, sour... for those who want to experience it authentically and pleasantly, I recommend "Malena," which is also offered by Fueguia.

La Cautiva is a completely different story and clearly belongs to the gourmand territory. Fruity-soft, almost with a hint of gum sweetness at the start. Slightly sour, but no more than a rhubarb crumble buried under pudding. Harmoniously rounded and above all... delicious! Over the hours, a toasted caramel note ignites fantasies of Crème Brûlée. A bit of malt, or at times toffee. A perfume dessert that doesn't slip into unbearable sweetness thanks to the blackcurrant. Tasty!

However, La Cautiva doesn't want to be just a dessert, as the captivating prisoner who enchants the Indian survived on me for almost three days, including showers. I can confirm Fröschlein's note on good longevity; it's almost eerily good performance for a natural scent.

Gourmands often fall into the category of "I love the smell, but I wear them rarely and get tired of them quickly." I would categorize La Cautiva more in the feminine corner. Nevertheless: If I had a bottle of this at home, I would want to wear it from time to time. Or rather, smell it on someone nice who can be close to me. Tasty!

Definitely black currant and musk. Soapy. In a way that maybe bothers me?

This is a really, truly beautiful (and feminine) fragrance. Very sexy too, IMO.

Truly enchanting. Blackcurrant has a bold dark fruity aroma and is tamed by vanilla. Subtly animalistic and unisex.

Like the candy factories in Holland, like the warm silky sugar mass that shines in the sun, like the eyes of the tourist children. Just like that.

Cloned blackcurrant. The typical "lemony" acidity has given way to a vanilla fruitiness. It oscillates between eroticism and aloofness.

A powdery-fruity dream, very soft and fluffy. Innocent, sweet, and a bit like grape sugar.

A scent like a golden sunny day between late summer and autumn. Soft and a bit melancholic.

Blackcurrants aren't that sweet in nature. A gourmand fruit dusted with plenty of vanilla powder.
